Error with trying to open enderchest and inventory

When I use /oi or /oe and a player as param it opens the inventory with nothing in it. This error is appearing:
Assuming you found the answer yourself since you closed the issue, but in case anyone else stumbles on this, it's a duplicate of lishid#173. You can find possible resolutions there.
