"fixtool" parameter extension

I'm making this ticket from Testercraft's comment, as I think it would be a rather novel feature to add. Of course, feel free to add this at your own leisure; I'm just leaving it here for the sake of a suggestion.
Basically, the idea is that upon "some" trigger happening, worn armour can get repaired. The way I think it could be implemented is by adding "extension data" to the "fixtool" parameter, so that it could be specified as
"fixtool.head@[ItemName]" (helmet), or
"fixtool.body@[ItemName]" (chestplate), or
"fixtool.legs@[ItemName]" (leggings), or
"fixtool.boots@[ItemName]" (boots).
Here, you can specify the "ItemName" of the tool to fix so that it will only fix the armour piece, if you're wearing the correct armour. (e.g. "fixtool.body@DIAMOND_CHESTPLATE: 3" will fix a diamond chestplate worn on the body by three points every time the trigger happens.)
If the issue is still open, that means it hasn't been resolved, so nope. This won't be implemented for quite awhile, as there are hundreds of tickets preceding this one, not to mention the fact that OtherDrops needs to update to 1.7 and such.
I would give Zarius one year to add this. Sounds like a lot of time, but trust me, deadlines/ETAs always get pushed back.
Donating is helpful, but donating won't magically make development go faster. There are many other tickets that need to be dealt with first - I would recommend looking for an alternative plugin to achieve this idea for now.
Plus, I don't like the idea of "donating will get me 'x' feature" or "donating will get this done faster", because it feels like one is just buying the developer so that they get precedence over everyone else.
However, donations will probably increase Zarius's motivation to work on this plugin overall. They're not bad. Just don't expect it to do you, specifically, any favours.
If making a donation, it should be made in recognition of work already
done. CommodoreAlpha's comment above is spot on. I hope to speed up
development soon either way.
