So, I've noticed that any permission using an asterisk (*) either a) doesn't work, or b) I am doing improperly. For example when I use /pex group [group] perm minecraft.command.* true it doesn't feedback an error, but it also does NOT work; whereas, using /pex group [group] perm minecraft.command.gamemode true it DOES work.

Is this expected, or am I just being noobish? Thanks for any guidance!

I have found what I had missed, and just in case anyone else missed it in the documentation, it can be found here. Look carefully, or you might miss it.
