I'm not a dummy, so I've checked these
- I am not using any other permission management plugin
- I use the latest available version of PowerRanks
- I am a human
Describe the bug
When a player is invisible, older clients (such as Minecraft 1.8.9) connecting to the server using ViaVersion, ViaBackwards, and ViaRewind can see the name tags of invisible players above their heads.
To reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Ensure ViaVersion, ViaBackwards, and ViaRewind are installed on a Minecraft 1.20 server (tested with version 1.20.1) alongside PowerRanks.
- Join the server on two instances of Minecraft with two different accounts - one on a newer version (in my case, version 1.20.1), and one on an older version (in my case, version 1.8.9).
- Drink a potion of invisibility on the Minecraft 1.20.1 client.
- Observe from the Minecraft 1.8.9 client that you can see the invisible player's name tag.
Expected behavior
The invisible player's name tag should not be visible on older clients that connect to the server using ViaVersion's three plugins.
