I'm trying to use the new off-by-default combined with sneak-to-place-field method. I noticed that "/ps info" will work fine with the state being off, but visualize won't. Perhaps most of the commands should still work with the plugin in placement-off mode, considering this new method of operation? I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out why I was getting red "that is not a command or you don't have permission" messages before I realized what the issue was. I didn't check the other commands so I'm not sure how widespread the behavior is.

/ps enable and /ps disable
don't work when /ps off...
but I assumed that was by design.

But I think you're right, the ability to enable or disable a field shouldn't be dependent on whether or not you have the ability to place fields. It's kind of an unnecessary dependency. But maybe that's just a matter of opinion?

I suspected it went beyond visualize but I guess that confirms. I'm sure they can do a review of the command list when they have time and change what works when in off-mode to account for the new sneak-to-place method (where you can "live" in off-mode as your primary mode and yet still use the stones). It seems to be a brand new issue, inadvertently created by this new method of placement, one that I think makes a lot of sense and look forward to using :).

Update For Version 8.2.6 (R5 ready)

You can now shift + right click (with tool) to enable and disable fields, even when /ps off by using "enable-on-src".
But /ps enable and /ps disable still do not work when /ps off.
