So I placed a lot of diamond and gold blocks, and in the config file, I edited so that it doesn't show the welcome and farewell messages. But whenever I start my server, the config file resets to default! Please help! Because those messages are really annoying!

You can turn them off in the config under settings.

You can now also you use the new command /ps disableall [flag] to disable the message flags in your existing fields.
