Describe the bug
when typing a message in the chat, we have a chat plugin that reads packets and such, and by doing this we can remove message and such, but on later times it has stopped working and glitched out when updating protocollib, when downgrading, many things brake, so downgrading is not really an option either

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
this happens with another plugin using protocllib to read packets

1. type message
2. remove message with the x button

Expected behavior
when pressing the x button in the chat the message should disappear without bugging the chat
