Sometimes, when trying to set a Normal player selling shopkeeper, the price editor does not show up.I already reported this in the past, but thought it was solved. This video should help understand the issue:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MYDCFPeFzMI don't think I'm doing anything wrong when setting up the player shop. Many players on my server have reported this issue as well.

I must add, this issue is not always present, I actually succeded at setting prices the first time I tried that day, but after a while I tried again, using various other shop types, and I no longer could set prices.
I also asked someone else to give it a try, he had the same unpredictable results.
I do hope this is not a bug, and that I'm skipping something important when setting up the shop xD

The shop type seem's to default back to book shopkeeper automatically sometimes. Would it not be better if it just stayed whith the last type selected?

I think it is clearing the selection after each shopkeeper you create. I guess I could expand the duration this information is stored until the player leaves the server. Also I will change the order of those default shoptypes, so that the normal player shop type gets selected first if the player has no selection.

I will close this for now and make the mentioned changes in the next version.

I am not completely sure but I think you have created a written-book shopkeeper. This type of player shopkeeper will only accept written books and book-and-quill items in the chest and will then dynamically create copies of those written books when they are sold, using the available blank book-and-quill items.
So basicly: there are different kinds of player shops available and each has it's own way of setting them up. You can switch between the different shop types by right clicking (without sneaking) with the villager egg in hand.
The book shopkeeper only accepts written books and also needs blank book-and-quill items in the chest.
The normal player shopkeeper trades the items from the chest in exchange for the configured currency items (this is the one you meant to use I guess).
The buying shopkeeper needs currency items in the chest and can be setup to buy items.
And the trading shopkeeper lets you trade every kind of item for every kind of other item.

For the last two shop types you require at least one of the items you want to buy or trade for: you click that item in your inventory while being in the editor mode and then you click the slot in the top window where you want to place it. You can then increase and decrease it's amount by right and left clicking there.

I think you might be right. It's quite embarassing to admit, but when changing the shop type, the first thing that came up is: You are now using a book selling shopkeeper, which may mean I was using a bookseller all along.
Now I tried a villager whith Normal selling shop type, and the prices did come up.
But it really is strange, as I am sure I've had Normal selling shop selected in the past, the first times I tried it on this mode it worked, but then it stopped working. (maybe the default shopkeeper type I was using switched on it's own whithout me noticing?)
I will keep testing this, untill I'm completely sure there's no issue if selecting the correct shop type. If I notice anything, I'll have it recorded.
In any case, I will be glad if this is not a bug, and just a confusion, If so, I'll make sure to explain in detail so that my players don't make the same error.
