Well, there were all kinds of problems related to cauldron in the past already, so if it's working fine on a craftbukkit or spigot server, but not on cauldron it's probably an issue with cauldron..
As I have no experience nor time to analyize how cauldron works differently internal I probably can't help you with this :(
Maybe you can find assistance in the cauldron forums.
