Shop Does Not Allow Payment or Selling?

When implementing shops, left click will allow text to pop up asking if the person wants to buy [Item] for [price]. However, when right clicking to confirm, it always says the transaction has failed and to talk to the Admin. Admin doesn't know what is wrong with the shop either. Same thing for selling. It asks if you want to sell, however right clicking brings up text that says that you are either overstocked or can't hold any more money. This happens with every person who uses it. Not sure what is wrong (I'm a new plugin user, so I'm having a hard time scouring for issues) and wanted to see if anyone else had similar problems or a solution.

Does this happen to every shop or just a few? What economy plugin are you using? Do other economy aspects work such as checking your balance? What item is in the shop and is it customized? What is the exact message that says to contact the admin? Do you have access to the server files and console? Feel free to join the Discord for easier help.

It happens to every shop we have currently, which granted are all infinite item shops at the moment. We are using an econ plugin called "Economy". Checking your balance works (I currently have 82 dollars, for example). The items in the shops I tested were steak and arrows, neither are customized. Here are some photos that demonstrate the messages. I don't have access to the server files and console, but I am in direct contact with the person who does. Thank you for your quick response!

It seems that Signshop is having trouble communicating with your economy plugin. I would bet either you don't have Vault installed or there is something wrong with the economy or there is a compatibility issue between one of the versions. I will need to see the startup log so I can try to reproduce the error. And/or you could try a different economy plugin and make sure you are using the correct versions of everything.

You just need a vault compatible permissions plugin such as Luckperms. However, it should work without out it with op mode. But you may want to consider adding a permissions plugin anyway since it will give you more control over what players can and cannot do.

I use CMI on all of my servers and it has a built-in economy so I have not used any others outside of basic testing. I will take a look at your link as soon as I have some time. I have also been quite busy lately.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue. I have tried both Economy and GemsEconomy with Spigot and Paper and have not had an issue. I did not change anything in the configurations of either economy so if you did please tell me what you changed. If you have any other information please reply with it as well.
