When eating from a stack of mushroom soup, a second or so after one has been consumed, another will also be consumed. It appears to only happen if you have hunger left so it is still obeying normal hunger rules.

Can anyone replicate this without altering the hunger level through commands?

This was found to be a bug in either bukkit or vanilla.
