One biome = Messed up

I've been trying to create a world that has only one biome, and as far it has somewhat been successful. I only want plains, and it does give me that. But if the world crashes, it instantly creates a huge chunk (actually not just a huge chunk, but it's almost like TC stops working) of normal landscape, which completely ruins the whole purpose and forces me to redo every single bit I've just done, or copy paste it into a completely new landscape, which is for the seventh time now, starting to get ridiculous.

I'm using multiverse version 2.5-b670 and TerrainControl version v2.4.14

I've attached an image below that shows how messed up it gets/looks whenever this happens. And may I note it happens OFTEN!

You should of course fix the crashes. There should be a crash report for every crash, either in the console or in the crash-reports folder.

Is Terrain Control enabled properly? You can test this by executing /tc biome as a player somewhere in the world. It'll show you the biome that should be there, according to the world seed and settings.

Well by accident I wrote /stop and server closed instantly. As for if it's enabled properly; as far as I'm aware, it works beautifully until the server crashes. It makes a nice huge area of plains (I think we got up on about 200x200 this time), but then I by accident wrote /stop and this started.

When I write /tc biome inside the plains bit, it does write "Taiga chunk biome!". Sooo...

Okay so I've managed to make the world get TerrainControl back, and it can make new areas plains-only, but the old areas are still jungle etc. Any way I can remake them back to plains?

You can use the //regen command of WorldEdit, or the Delete chunks function of MCEdit.
