First of all; thanks for the awesome plugin!
But I do have an issue, since the effect toggles are not logged I would like to disable them. I tried to negate the effects in the PEX permissions file but this seemed not to work.
Is there any other option to disable these effects?

If it's not working then you're using your permissions plugin wrong. Read over its documentation (or frankly, choose a plugin better than PEX. I suggest Privileges or bPermissions) and fix the mistake.
