Since my last question was closed without being fixed. I'm reposting it.

I can't disable the annoying effects of lightning, fire and explosions when I vanish and also when I connect to my server I am automatically vanished. I HAVE NOT assigned any permissions to myself, or the rank I am in or any other rank.

If you're op, you failed to understand the consequences.

Op does not get those nodes, so you've given yourself * without knowing. Probably using GroupManager or PEX.

My suggestion for a better permissions plugin is one of these:

Privileges
bPermissions

If you're certain there's still an issue, let's do this:

Paste your full plugins list, and your permissions plugin's configs. (Put those on http://pastie.org on separate pastes and link them here)

We use PEX and I have not added any permission nodes, no group has any permission nodes for VanishNoPacket. I am not Op on my server.
