Hello, I just updated to 3.11 from 3.10. In 3.10, I had all my perms set with vanish.standard and effects disabled. Immediately when I updated to 3.11, the effects came back even though the perms were for disabling them still. I'm using CB1.2.5R5 and permissionsEX for my perms

Let's do a quick test. Enable permtest in your vanishnopacket config.

In console, say vanish.reload

Join (or quit and rejoin) and say this: /permtest vanish.effects.lightning

Let me know what it says.

It tells me I have vanish.effects.lightning
it should be disabled

heres my perms for it:
- -vanish.effects.lightning
- -vanish.effects.explode
- -vanish.effects.smoke

Ok update. I had a perm in my perms allowing for all perms in my group (a group for ops). I removed it, and it now says i dont have access to that command, but I still have all those effects happening. I've tried when I'm and op and not, it doesn't make a difference...

You'll want to ask the PEX folks for help. PEX is an utter mess.

Though to make sure you log out and back in before testing any changes.
