NEWBIE PROBLEM

Is it possible to turn off the vanish feature entirely until you need it? (short of uninstalling the plugin). I have bungeecord and stargate and wheneven I step through it turns back on the vanish feature and I forget that I'm invisible sometimes. LOL. I'd like to toggle the system off completely with a command and not have it vanish me regardless of my coming and going from the server. :-)

Don't grant the silentjoin permission nodes, so you join like a normal player.

In permissionsex I have:

 - vanish.*
 - - vanish.silentjoin

I assumed putting the - -vanish.silentjoin after the vanish.* would work
but it's still putting me in Vanish mode whenever I go through a portal
or switch world.

Can you give me any other ideas?

Best,
JAG100

Also tried to just give myself Vanish.standard and also tried the --vanish.silentjoin in combination without luck. Always has me vanishing upon joining. I must be doing something wrong... Any ideas?

Don't give yourself vanish.*

Start with a clean slate and only add the nodes you want :)

Same advice for don't give yourself vanish.standard I presume?

Maybe you have the * node?

Here's all I have pertaining to "vanish" permissions:

 - vanish.standard
 - - vanish.silentjoin
 - - vanish.joinvanished

I tried to specifically remove the silent join and joinvanished
permissions.

Shouldn't this work?

I wonder if something is screwed up with my permissions plugin.

Best,
Joseph

vanish.standard is fine to give yourself.

Dear Matt,

I tried giving myself vanish.standard but it still forces me into
invisible mode whenever I join the server. I can't seem to figure out
how to turn this feature off. I didn't want mess with the
configurations inside the .jar file without getting some direction from
someone.

Essentially, I just want to be able to turn off the plugin until I need
it. Can you please share with me an example of the permissions or
commands that would make that possible?

I really enjoy the plugin and I do appreciate your kind consideration.

Warmest Regards,
Joseph
