Unable to use silent join

So instead of the rest of the people that are trying to disable silent join. Im actually trying to enable it.
I have tried all variations of permissions but it seems I just cant get it to work.
First I used to have xauth on the server and it already was trouble to get the plugin working with that with silent join and such but now we switched over to authme and I cant seem to get it working anymore. Not even in the same set up as we used to have it working in xauth.
Now this issue is for a group with op rights and it gives us all commands and such when we leave the permissions area blank for vanish so op is giving us all access for the vanish plugin but it isnt activating silentjoin by default like the issue is with most people.
Somebody any ideas on how to fix it or atleast what the problem is?
Would be great to know if it has to do with authme and xauth or something with being op for example.
Edit Okay I narrowed down the problem to one plugin and thats Authme. As soon as I disable it then all is fine on my server with silent join. It used to do the same with Xauth but I managed to fix that but cant remember how I did that and seems authme is doing the exact thing as xauth used to do.Edit
So... stop using an auth plugin? Do people even steal accounts anymore with mojang accounts?
There are still enough reasons to use a auth plugin for me.
The thing is I know theres a solution for it because its the same problem I got with xauth but I dont know how to fix it anymore.
authme is forcing the game/server to ignore silent join and show a join message. Theres a way to fix it since I did it before
for example I sometimes run a small server in offline mode for friends and such otherwise they arent able to join.
Also like the added security on my normal server since I force my players to register with a email and such so they wont go griefing to quickly and such and to give them information about the server when its offline.
Just two example of why I use auth plugins.
