I have the latest Dynmap and the latest Vanish and when I vanish I disappear from the map but when I unvanish I'm still gone till I type "/dynmap show me".

I don't believe it is a permissions issue.

Enable permtest in the vanishnopacket config, say /vanish reload in chat, then /permtest vanish.hooks.dynmap.alwayshidden

Most likely you've given yourself the permission node that I named there, through doing vanish.* or just *

Yeah, I'm using the * permission for admins at the moment and removing the ones not needed.
I really should get around to doing it permission by permission.
