On 1.18, color codes in fakeannounce.join/quit with "&" don't work

On Minecraft 1.18, VNP 3.22, color codes in fakeannounce.join and fakeannounce.quit with "&" don't work. Color codes with "§" work. Strangely, in double-sneak-during-vanish-switches-gamemode.message both kinds of color codes work.
