For those of us building from git directly (yes there are people insane enough to do that), check for 1.2.9-SNAPSHOT or something to that effect and shut up the version check warning? :P Alternatively a way to turn it off via config.

Additionally, this results in amusing log bits like:
15:54:54 [WARNING] Vault 1.2.8 is out! You are running 1.2.9
15:54:54 [WARNING] Update Vault at: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/vault

just ignore it. the snapshot isn't actually in the version anyway. It's how I handle the version check.

Also there's no real reason to build from Git, we have a repo with all the latest builds.
