I have loans off yet EssentialsEco accounts are still going into the negatives and any players can buy anything for free.

closing, no more reports of this happening and original reporter seems to not care.

might want to report this to Essentials too. I'm not doing anything specific that would cause it to go negative in this situation that I'm aware of.

I also added an option to Essentials Pre2.8.3.4, which lets you set a minimum balance. Setting the minimum balance to 0, will disable loans completely.

Players with the essentials.eco.loan permission are allowed to go to negative balances, this applies to ops as well, try using /pay and see if you can go negative with that first.
