I'm making an economy plugin and I want to allow an option to use Vault for balance storage, or use the plugin itself instead. However, a horrible realization came to me that I can't do this, without having to ironically have another economy-management plugin installed on any server that my plugin is installed on.

Is there a way to make my plugin a valid economy manager that will allow other VaultAPI-using plugins to function, or does Vault have to personally create a hook to my plugin upon my request, IF the developers would be willing to?

Anyway, just a question. The ironically using another economy plugin to enable mine is still an option for me.

I don't support every economy plugin directly in Vault, you can add the connector into your own plugin. Gringotts did this if you search github for their project you can see an example.
