I was attempting to use the Splatter Overlay Brush with Cobblestone (but it did this with any block type). It then it says this in game "Error performing brush operation, see console for details."
The above pastebin shows what the console said.

I am still having this issue. It wasn't resolved in 8.5.0

stuck on 1.10.2, have the same problem, just throws an error.

#345 fixes this bug

will this get backported to older api versions of sponge? still on 1.10.2 for various mod related reasons.

If the pull request ever gets accepted I can backport it to the 1.10 version as well.
