What is Infernal RPG?
Infernal RPG is a modpack on it's own, but this is the datapack I created for it that includes over 11 new Origins for Forge.
All Origins are heavily inspired by Fantasy MMORPGs, with flavor towards class roles, such as damage dealers, healers, and tanks, while also having multiple active ability buttons and passives.
Each Origin can also upgrade once when killing the Ender Dragon, buffing your active abilities, some passives, and also giving you new additional abilities and passives.
What Origins are included?
Imp, Goblin, Ghost Pirate, Templar, Dragon Knight, Satyr Druid, Soul Warlock, Wind Archer, Berserker, Wendigo, and Elemental Serpent
As stated before, once you killed the Ender Dragon, these Origins will upgrade into stronger variants as the following, in the same order:
Blood Demon, Tinker Master, Spectral Captain, Holy Paladin, Maw Guardian, Nature's Chosen, Icon of Death, Wind Elemental, Fury Viking, Frost Feaster, and Void Dragon.
For information about individual Origin abilities, check out the images section above, at the top of the page.
(Note: When looking at the images, keep in mind the right side is added ONTOP of the left side. You do not lose any abilities, only gain)
Required Mods
Origins (Forge) Pehkui (Forge) Architectury API (Forge) Caelus API (Forge) Cloth Config API (Forge) Origins Extra Keybinds
How do I use a datapack?
If you don't know how to use a datapack, there are 2 ways to start.
1. When creating a new world, click on the "Data Packs" button in the bottom right and then drag the Infernal Origins zip file into Minecraft. Once the file has appeared, click on it to move it to the right "Selected" area, then click done. After that, you can create your world as usual, and you should be able to choose an origin when you load in.
2. When you download the Infernal Origins zip file, go to your .minecraft folder, then go to your saves folder, choose the world you're currently playing on, or have just created, then go into that worlds datapack folder, and put the Infernal Origins zip file in. After that, restart your game for all new files to apply, and you should be able to choose an origin when you open up the world again.
Huge shoutout to all my friends for helping with ideas through the creation of this datapack!
