Suggestion/Issue: Its way to bright

So the ground, mainly white and yellow blocks go incredibly bright. I have changed many settings like turning simpler exposure and block reflections off to try to make it less bright, but it is still really bright. I have tried changing in game brightness and removing brightness resource packs and mods.
The suggestion is, in the sun/cloud tab, add a sun brightness or sun strength bar.

The main recommendation is: Don't use simple exposure, it will only make the problem worse.
In fact, that’s the solution: not using simple exposure. Normal exposure on its own should be enough to adjust the camera's sensitivity and adapt to the brightness.
What might be happening is that, unconsciously, to avoid the brightness, you avoid looking directly at very bright objects, and this is precisely what prevents the camera from adjusting.
However, I understand that things like snow or sand can become very bright (as they naturally are), and their appearance may not match some players’ expectations.
Perhaps later on, I’ll offer more tone mapping options to handle higher brightness levels differently, though this will undoubtedly affect the appearance of everything else.
