Blocks attached to support blocks are deleted upon support blocks being broken by hammers

Describe the bug
Place down any block that requires a support block (ladder, pressure plate, button, flower etc)
use hammer on support blocks
block attached to the support blocks don't drop, just get deleted
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Place support blocks (in a 3x3 for example)
- Place ladders/flowers/pressure plates etc on them
- Mine the support blocks with a hammer
- All blocks attached to the support blocks are deleted
- Item frames/paintings stay floating in the air permanently until manually broken (bonus)
Expected behavior
Expected the attached blocks to drop upon being broken, but was met with deletion of the items instead.
Expected item frames/paintings to naturally break as though you broke the blocks behind them by hand rather than hammer
