your items not showing up in JEI or EMI
only when i filter to craftable

commented

Hiya! The mod version is a datapack that's been ported to a modding platform! As a result, there are some incompatibilities with JEI and other item display mods

The items are most definitely craftable and are available! But may not appear in the menu

I am looking into this however, as compatibility with JEI would be ideal

commented

they appear but only if you can craft them as you can see in the last picture... but thank you anyways for this datapack/mod very useful tools

and your mod hasnt the right pictures

btw iam on a server

commented

Is the mod on both client and server? And do the versions match?

commented

Yes I used the exact same version was taking a look again…on single player it is working but not server

commented

Just tested v2.0.1.1 on a NeoForge server with the mod installed on both the server and client, works fine on my end. I suspect you have a conflict

Could you please send me a list of mods installed on your client AND on the server, as well as a list of the resourcepacks you have installed

commented

Mmh maybe I will take another look into it tonight. And if I was wrong I post my modpack here

commented

so i checked again and i have the same mod in server in client installed
Client:
Cobblemon - Catch em all-1.0.2.zip
Server:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_x6cqPc9Gwt-5VgOg0XBrwXwxQIdKfvQ/view?usp=sharing
thats my mod pack for curse forge and the files i use for my server

So I can see that your modpack has the Jake's Build Tools resource pack in there as well, since you're using the mod version you don't need the resourcepack as well

Try removing/disabling that and see if it helps. Also try disabling some resourcepacks to see if it makes any difference

commented

yeye i have it because without it i cant see items at all

Image

i disabled it now and thats what i got

commented

When you don't have the texture pack on, do other items in the mod have a texture? ie: void bundle, item magnet, hardhat

commented

Image
not at all

commented

and with resource pack the hard hat & magnet has also no texture

Image

commented

Ah, that's an issue with the advancement having the wrong item in it, will fix that in the next update. The items themselves will have the correct textures

Just to check, you don't need the resourcepack in singleplayer to see the textures right?

commented

no also in singleplayer its not working

commented

Definitely a mod conflict then, figuring out which one might be difficult but I'll see about doing further testing

commented

Actually, could you please send me a screenshot of your resource pack tab? It's possible that "fabric mods" is below some of your other resource pack

commented

but magnet and hard hat still have no textures

commented

nvm had the resource pack loading in fk

commented

The items themselves have textures, but not the advancement icons. That is fixed in: https://modrinth.com/datapack/jakes-build-tools/version/2.0.1.2-(1.21.1)+mod

This version fixes the issue where, even with the resource pack on, the advancement icons for the item magnet and hardhat weren't displaying

You are still going to have a conflict with something in your modpack

Also, please make sure that "mod resources" is at the top in the resource pack ordering, this could be why you don't see the textures:

omg that was it ... i dont get this before "It's possible that "fabric mods" is below some of your other resource pack" i dont know what you referring towards to... my mod resources was infact under default uff...i dont know why in the first place

commented

Apologies, I normally play fabric, but most mod loaders package mod textures as their own resourcepack, you just have to make sure it's at the top

Glad to have helped! Closing this as done
