Dread tentacle layer crashing on start

Description:

The dread tentacle layer renderer needs some additional checks, as it currently crashes with Mutant Beasts installed (probably happens with other mods as well, but this is the first one I've seen). Pretty much just slap on some null checks in the ctor for the renderer and it'll stop crashing.

Will drop a hotfix for this today (May 6th 2024, for future reference if that's somehow needed).
