So I have been using the vertical digger and while trying to use it I notice its very unwieldy. Here are a few ideas I have to make it be more fun.

First and foremost it would be really advisable to allow the vertical digger to automatically output to an adjacent storage block. Its internal inventory is really small and given players might be moving it around often its a little troublesome.

Please add an option to add drill upgrades or some way of speeding it up or changing the mining modes. Max range the vertical digger takes forever to dig out its whole area. I might just be missing something its speed could be set low in configs but its odd that i can have tons of RF and tons of materials to make it faster and yet i cant do anything.

Please add at-least a config to make it go faster over air if I set a digger down it plods along over any empty space which effectively stops the use of multiple diggers to speed mining as-well as making accidentally breaking it a huge pain.

Configurable range would be great I know I can boost the range but if i want it to dig shallower or skinnier wishing a specific range its impossible. To be clear im not asking for a range buff or anything to make it larger just the ability to chose how large the area it is that is mined.

It seems like a block that cant decide between being a building tool and a mining tool its super slow and unwieldy to mine yet cant clear areas well either.
