It would be nice if wearing a space suit would shield me from radiation from mods such as Mekanism

If you're using Mekanism with this mod, a temporary fix is to make a MekaSuit and add radiation shielding units to all pieces of the power armor. If you have Ad Astra!: Giselle Addon, you can get Space Breathing Unit, Space Fire Proof Unit, Acid Rain Proof Unit, and Gravity Normalizing Unit. With these addons, the only thing that space suits have that a MekaSuit doesn't is the fact you can't enchant MekaSuit parts.
