Lamps are not working

TLDR: The issue was I was on a vanilla server - not running the forge server. (oops)

Issue1) For some reason I am unable to place the small lamps (they disappear instantly) and the larger ones and taller ones just go invisible except for the fire:

Issue2) I cannot craft any of your mod's items the recipes don't output anything

Minecraft: 1.16.4
Forge: 35.1.29 (I also tried this with Forge 35.1.4)
Just Enough Items: jei-1.16.4-7.6.1.63
AdditionalLights: additional_lights-1.16.4-2.1.3
[SBM]Merpig: SBM-Merpig-1.16.3-0.0.1.jar

Steps to reproduce:

  1. install the mods listed above
  2. run the server
  3. op yourself in the server
  4. give yourself creative mode to give yourself the items from your mod (JEI doesn't work atm, and doesn't show the recipes - unrelated issue)
  5. try placing down the lamps and lights and pits
  6. try to do the same thing in survival mode

I only have three mods in my modpack/server.

I tried to place the lamp, the torches, the pits, but none work for some reason. When I exited the game, shut the server off, and turned it back on, and rejoined, the fires were gone.
