More Slabs, Stairs, and Walls has glass slabs and stairs which does render strange when placed with additional placements options

the cut slabs are fixed with a texture pack from the fabric build of that mod, but loses transparency ... and still are a bit strange

that missing border thingy is not a bit issue, but that it does lose transparency is - might be a resource pack related issue?
