I am using ATM10(+ Figura & Emi) although I doubt this is because of a third mod so I havent tested it with Adorned + EMI alone

There has just been a release of the original Curios mod for 1.21.1 and this is fixed on that project, you should switch as this mod is no longer receiving updates.

As I know, EMI has yet to be made compatible with other mods in terms of UI Placement. JEI, on its side, won't overlap any other mods UI, which is why it is used in (almost) all modpacks.
