Hmm, logically this would be just as doable so I'll see what I think whilst adding this.

could you make it so that you can assign wire render and cube render per block?

like you gave 2 blocks similar colors (#f8f8f8, #f7f7f7) like black stone and obsidian, to tell them apart you give blackstone wire render and obsidian cube render
