I don't know how to tell you about this.

...But well, there's a problem with a backpack.
And yes. It's the cow one. Again.
It doesn't eat the wheat. Should I put a full stack or...?

Rawr.
Please elaborate.
If I can't make it work decently... I'm going to switch the ability for a placed backpack instead of a worn one.

I opened my backpack while wearing it (don't remember if I tried when
placed down as well, but I think so), put some 20-ish wheat in it and
waited. The wheat didn't disappear at all, it just stayed there :c I even
tried distributing the wheat all over the backpack but it didn't do
anything.
What if you made a slot inside the backpack just for the wheat to eat? It'd
look cool, but would that help with this damned backpack? :'D

Nope, singleplayer.

If you're suspecting it's a multiplayer issue (i.e. other guys on the other ends of some other computers), I am only using this mod on my singleplayer world. If you're thinking about a more strictly server-related issue...
Well, I am suspecting one of the mods I installed messes around with the internal server, although I've got no actual proof of that -it's "Fastcraft", it's supposed to make your playing a bit smoother, but I know neither what it does nor how it does it. Sometimes I get block lag, so maybe...

I think I should also note that in my F3 screen I can see a "Multiplayer Chunk Cache". I don't have a single clue about either what mod is using it or what it is for. Maybe I'm a bit rusty on my Vanilla and there's always been such a cache, even in a SP, but I think not.

I am talking as a complete noob, so maybe whatever I just said makes no sense whatsoever, in which case you are allowed to yell at me; I thought I'd let you know anyways. I found Fastcraft here, if it helps: http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=10820

I also just downloaded the new 1.12 version (I was using 1.9 till now), I'll see what it comes out of it. If the cow still doesn't eat, I'll try deleting the mod entirely and see if my computer and Moo can compromise on that. I'll report again tomorrow.

Cool, thanks. It's working in my single player version. I try testing with the server sometimes but it brings my system to its knees.
About the server thing, minecraft always works as a client - server application, even when in single player, but it has some oddities in that case I can't quite figure out. Good to know you play single player though, it helps the testing. Also, great work, keep the bugs coming so I can squash them.

Do you play in a server?

Thank you :D I'm testing on my creative SP world and it's working. I
probably derped something somewhere...my bad D:

I don't ubderstand. In my survival SP it just doesn't work D: maybe I should re-craft it? That's like the first backpack I ever made, maybe it didn't like me updating the mod...

Nice, NOW it works. It definitely didn't like me updating.

...
For the record, use new backpacks the next time u^_^

Yeah, that's kind of a good idea :'D
