when a pattern encoder was placed next to a cable with a pattern terminal and a dense cable which was directly connected to a controller, the server crashed and the world was "corrupted" until the mod was removed (could have MCEdited it out but removing the mod was easier). When the server was back, the security terminal connected to the cable with a pattern terminal was messed up and needed to be broken and replaced to allow access to the network.

can you see if it's reproduceable with AE rv1? The current version is built against it and might have problems with rv2 alpha.

Yeah this is definitely due to rv2 incompatibility, one of the methods in the api was renamed.
