The melee fungus grunt (name pending, possibly Rot Hound) is one of the main damage dealers of the tree dungeon. It roams around looking for targets to fight with its axe like head. During combat, the grunt has the ability to burrow into and merge with the roots and fungus around the dungeon to reposition, leaving only its branchy tails visible as it moves around. This makes it a tricky enemy to track during combat, especially in larger numbers. The mob can also spawn in a hiding position, where its visible tails mimic normal plants found around the dungeon.
