Spawning criteria - grassy terrain in all highfield, arctic, and magnetic biomes, spawns in a small group
Behaviour type - passive
Health pool and Damage types - medium health pool, weak to slash damage
Description - The Taegore is one of the first mobs the player will want to interact with, they are a source of meat and crafting materials for early game armour. The Taegore is entirely passive but is incredibly fast when startled, so players need to be agile and craft basic weapons to be able to effectively hunt them. They drop a hide item that can be crafted into Aether II’s leather armour.
Taegore can be bred and lured with a crop item that requires some farming progression to obtain, Taegore have different visual designs based on the biome they spawned in, if two different regional variants of Taegore are bred together the outcome is randomised between the two, if two of the same regional variants are bred together the result will always match the parents even if they are outside the biome they spawn in.
Taegore should make quiet, peaceful sounds and generally be a pleasant addition to the environment. Given their boar inspired design, we could have a sniffer-like mechanic of Taegore digging for a truffle type crop, potentially.
