Spawning criteria - aerclouds and stone in all highfield, arctic, magnetic, and cloud sea biomes at night, spawns alone
Spawns sleeping inside stormy aerclouds during the day
Behaviour type - hostile
Health pool and Damage types - medium health pool, weak to pierce, strong against slash and impact
Attacks - electric explosive projectile
Description - Tempests are dangerous and predatory cousins of the Zephyr, during the day they slumber inside stormy aerclouds, emitting excess electricity into the cloud surface, which can zap creatures and players that wander into them on accident. During night, they awaken, don a shell of webbing and aercloud, and prowl the Aether, floating above the island surface looking for prey. Once locked onto a target, they slowly build up electricity inside them, making a humming crackle sound as they do, until they have enough energy built up to spit out a ball of charged webbing. This electric ball explodes on impact, damaging any caught in the explosion and creating an area of electrical arcs around the impact zone which slow and damage anything inside while building up a charged status effect.
They drop stormy aerclouds, and occasionally a trophy item called a charge core, an organ that allows them to generate electricity. This item can be sold for a high price or traded to receive tempest themed gear.
