LAN Player Loses Inventory even with KeepInventory=True

A while ago there was a KeepInventory bug that was happening that was fixed, but recently we are seeing that LAN players on a hosted machine are having their inventory spew out on the ground when killed even when KeppInventory=true.
The hosting player keeps their inventory just fine, but LAN players do not. Is this due to something that changed that broke this fix?
