Moa eggs specific to a certain type of moa can occasionally spawn moas that don't match the egg in creative.

Should probably sort this out when working on recreating moa gene stuff in the port.

This also extends to using the pick block button to get a Moa Egg from a Moa in creative, sometimes it'll rarely give you an egg not corresponding to the Moa's colors.
