Bug [1.19.2]: Aether Redux entirely removes the Aether dimension
GeminiCrafterMan opened this issue · 6 comments
What version of the mod, Forge/Neoforge and Minecraft are you using?
Mod: Release 1.0.5-1.19.2
Forge: 43.3.0
Minecraft: 1.19.2
Describe the bug
Exactly as the title states. Adding Aether Redux to my mod pack entirely removed the Aether dimension from the list. JourneyMap doesn't show it, portals to the Aether simply don't work in survival or creative, and it's impossible to use commands to teleport there. /execute in
doesn't show the dimension in the list, only vanilla's and Blue Skies's.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Install the Aether mod.
- Install Aether Redux.
- Try to travel to the Aether by any means.
Expected behavior
I should be able to go to the Aether to see literally anything this mod has to offer.

Edit: that was the wrong log. here's the correct one.

Edit 2: Tried again on a fresh modpack, issue still persists. This should be more readable than the mess above.

I mean, it kind of worked? I managed to get into the Aether permanently for one session by messing around and disabling the mod, standing in the portal, re-enabling it... something like that. I don't understand how it managed to magically start working.
Oops -- accidentally closed the issue! GitHub's buttons are kinda confusing in their placement sometimes.
This happens sometimes on 1.19.2 (a general minecraft issue afaik, not redux or the aether causing it), if this is that same issue, then relogging/saving and re-entering the world should fix it
If that doesn’t work though, I’ll look into it for the update I’m currently working on
Hmm, what other mods are you using? I haven't had this happen where just saving and exiting to the title and then going back into the world didn't fix it, so a mod conflict seems likely if that didn't work
