I am aware i need to put gold ore under the gravel to make it grow the only problem is if you break that gold ore without removing the seed first then the game crashes

I think the issue is, those aren't actually aurigold seeds. Those are seeds with no data. If you put them in an analyzer first they'll probably change to something else. You shouldn't be able to plant aurigold seeds without the gold ore/block under it. I think the pull request that's been done should fix this issue as well. I think. I'm no Java coder so I'm just going by what others have said in various bug reports.

Fixed, caused by dumb line added to ore dict.
