Disabling vanilla planting prevents cactus from being placed on the ground

This causes problems with beekeeping in Forestry when certain bees require cactus to be nearby in order to produce honeycombs.
Maybe instead of preventing cactus from being placed, they could just be prevented from growing after placement?
A workaround that I found: delete the cactus from the list of possible seeds for the cactus. Now you can do vanilla planting as well as AgriCraft planting for cacti! This is also good for if you like to decorate your desert scenes with reeds and cacti.
