Sounds like a MP permissions issue then. I remember this being an issue with a much older version of AgriCraft. @Poisonsting Test and see if an OP can place the crop sticks.
Thanks for testing. To be clear, when it worked for me that was in a single-player world. I also tried starting SSP, and then enabling LAN connection. Cross-crops still worked. I have not tried SMP.
Edit: Silly question, do you have permissions to be on the island that you're testing on?
I have the same issue. Also can't place water with buckets if I've gotten the water from the Wooden Water Tank. I can place water I got from other sources just fine. Probably related.
I can confirm that this works on my server where normal placing did not. I can't click twice because the second one pops off, I can't shift click on an already placed crop stick because the second one pops off. When there is no crop stick I can place a double one by shift clicking straight at the tilled dirt.
Thanks pudding. For me the issue is closed, will update the issue in departed since now the only issue is the description in the quest not reflecting how it works.
(I still can't place water I got from wooden water tanks with a bucket)
