Quick description

I was playing on survival mod and obtained carrot seed so I planted them with and without sticks and when they were ready to be harvested I didn't obtain anything neither the seed nor the crops so I tried again and I saw that my seed changed from carrot seed to just air I thought maybe it was me doing something wrong so I created a creative world to try with others seeds but it was the same.
