[BETA] Water pad cannot created

I still use beta-2 jar and the watered farmland that is needed for witchery water artichoke cannot created with BluePower shovel neither with vanilla wooden shovel. Is there any new release that I can try out? Or it is an actual issue? I cannot decide.

I tried to right click with a BluePower and vanilla wooden shovel to a wet farmland and the water pad does not form.

That might be an inocmpatibility, yes. I've set the priority of my handler to highest, that's all I can do.

commented

Thank you very much. Btw, no hurry, but when we can expect next beta? You did so many awesome improvement and I would like to test them out... No ETA expected here, just... okay, I'm impatient. 😄

commented

I watn to finish the peripheral, then I'll put out the final beta.

commented

I'm glad to hear.

commented

instanceof ItemSpade works fine.

commented

I was thinking that should work, but some shovel-type items do different things on the right click, like the mattock from TiC. I suppose, however, if we consume the right click, that would prevent the different behavior making it work.

commented

TiC is already handled

commented

Yeah I see that now, sorry.

commented

I don't think that there is a good way to determine what tools can create the water pad on right click outside of vanilla, since there are too many tools that do odd things when you right-click in modded Minecraft. I suppose the only option would be a tool right-click white list in the configuration files, for modpack creators to determine what will and will not work.

commented

Mattock works only on untilled soil, and it does nothing on tilled one. No
functional collision here.

Should this be closed? This does not appear to really be all that much of agricraft's fault?

commented

I think raising the priority of the handler should be enough, even if I can't try it out without a released version of the fix.

Can be closed from my part, if this is still an issue, I will poke him and ask to reopen.

commented

Very well

commented

You are rightclicking tilled soil, correct? It works fine for me.

commented

I right click on a tilled farmland (NEI says it's a farmland and optically it seems like wet) but nothing happens. What tool do you use for it? Wooden shovel would be eligible to do this?

commented

Any shovel, try removing GrowthCraft to see if that is interfering.

commented

@InfinityRaider I removed GrowthCraft. now wooden shovel works, but BluePower shovel not.

Edit: it worked once after reloading the world. Now I cannot reproduce it with my wooden shovel.

Edit 2: and it works again. I do not know what I do wrong.

Edit 3: I have a guess. I have some mod that adds a feature like Tinkers Construct tools have, using the right next item in your inventory if the current tool can't eligible to do a rightclick on the selected block/TE. Your rightclick handler become after this universal handler, and does not get a chance to make a water pad if my next slot is not empty or not eligible for right clicking.
