It was my understanding that once you had the Hand Rake tool enabled you had to use it in order to remove weeds from the crop sticks, however recently I have been able to use any item to remove the weeds. Is this intentional or is this a bug?
Edit: I'm using the latest available to date version (1.4.6pre2)
