Given that the version of the JEI API referenced by the mod has fallen several versions behind, it should be updated in a future release.

Given that the update would require some minor recoding of the integration system, it would be as good of a time as any to improve it. This would primarily entail adding tool tips to the required blocks describing their requirements, and have the JEI GUI iterate over displaying all the required blocks, so that all of the requirements are user accessible.
