Just came here to create an issue about the latest released version of the mod seemingly being incompatible with 1.18.2.

Of note is that this mod runs totally fine on 1.18.1 @Platymemo.

Perhaps it is also time to port to 1.18.2, given there are far more drastic changes?

This is no longer relevant, due to changes with 1.18.2 making lots of compat hard to do.
